Access Maintainer Version 1.2.0 Known Bugs?
Installation Error - Invalid line in
setup information file!
Description:
This error seems to occur when Microsoft Office has been
installed from Network Server. The paths contained in the
system registry are UNC paths. Microsoft’s
installation package will not recognize UNC paths and will report
this as an invalid path name.
Action:
This error can be safely worked around by removing the
following a line from the SETUP.LST file before running the
installation program. To do this :
- Open the setup.lst file with Notepad (setup.lst is
distributed as part of the Access Maintainer zip file)
- Remove the following line (the dates, times and
file sizes may be different
@DAO350.DLL,$(MSDAOPath),$(DLLSelfRegister),$(Shared),4/27/98
12:00:00AM,570128,3.51.1608.0
- Save setup.lst
- Run the setup.exe
