The Access Maintainer utility is designed to automate the maintenance of Microsoft Access database files in the Windows environment.

Its main purpose is to find and compact databases thereby reducing wasted disk space and increasing the performance of applications using those databases. The utility is of most use in environments where there are many separate Microsoft Access databases which are added to, and deleted from on a regular basis.

Access Maintainer can be run on an ad-hoc basis or can be scheduled to run to a specified cycle.
